Fingerboard

The fingerboard of the guitar is an elongated and narrow piece of wood that is placed on top of the neck and on which the frets are arranged. It is the part that suffers the most friction and that is why it must be made of a hard and resistant wood. The most common are Indian Rosewood and Ebony, but others with similar characteristics can be used.
